Project and Maintenance Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a talented Project and Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Santo Tomas City, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing maintenance of our engineering projects. As a Project and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimise equipment downtime and extend operational lifespan
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including technicians, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution
• Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and maintenance records to track performance and support continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout all project phases
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimise efficiency and reduce waste
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions to address operational challenges
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address concerns promptly

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management, maintenance engineering, or a similar role within the engineering sector

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance practices

• Excellent understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, and industry standards relevant to your area of specialization

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high-quality standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Valid professional engineering licensure or certification is preferred

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
