About the role

The Project & Plant Service Coordinator supports the service team by coordinating, planning, and delivering complex onsite plant exchanges, revamps, and technical plant service projects. The role bridges service delivery, project coordination, and data-driven service improvement. It ensures high-quality project outcomes while improving efficiency, workflow accuracy, and customer satisfaction across the service division. This role works closely with the Service Manager, Planner, Presentation Specialist, and the wider service and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Organise, scope, and coordinate large plant exchanges, revamps, and service-related projects at customer sites.
  • Enter project details into the workflow app, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and scheduling feasibility.
  • Liaise with nursery, operations/delivery, and service coordination teams to ensure resources, plant stock, and logistics are aligned.
  • Oversee onsite project delivery as required, ensuring safe, organised, and efficient execution.
  • Analyse data from the workflow app to identify route efficiencies, workload balancing opportunities, and servicing improvements.
  • Conduct field trials or experiments to test new servicing efficiencies and measure their effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations to the Service Manager and Servicing Coordinator to enhance quality and workflow effectiveness.
  • Review servicing routes and assist in reshaping schedules for improved performance and customer experience.
  • Support customers by coordinating solutions for complex site changes, large exchanges, or technical issues.
  • Uphold high standards of presentation and plant health across all assigned projects.

About you

  • Experience overseeing projects from start to finish, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of plant servicing requirements, gained through hands-on service technician experience.
  • Competent in analysing spreadsheets, workflow data, and producing clear, actionable reports.
  • Account management or client-facing experience, with strong customer communication skills.
  • Experience working with job-management or workflow apps (preferred).
  • Comfortable coordinating between multiple teams within tight timeframes.
  • Current full New Zealand driver's licence.
  • Highly organised, structured, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly onsite.
