DMG are seeking a Lead Architect to manage an exciting Student Accomodation Tower project in Nedlands. Working with a tier 1 builder, you will be responsible for finalising the IFC package with an existing team, then carry through the onsite architectural management / administration alongside the DMG Developments team and Builder through to completion. Onsite prototype room and joinery reviews internationally will be a requirement on occasions throughout the build with all travel arrangements covered.

Other projects in the office include Luxury Apartments, Commercial Offices , Hotel developments, and Bespoke Residential Houses. The selected candidate has the opportunity to be involved from early concept design to managing the project delivery with the support of a fun and diverse team.

This position will ideally suit someone who is an experienced Registered Architect and has a proven track record of leading and managing successful project deliverables from concept design through to onsite services. Strong Revit documentation experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of select project(s) and project team including consultants

• Project delivery management – within timeframes and allocated budgets

• Revit Documentation

• Site/Construction Administration - Aconex Management

• Managing and mentoring your project team

• Liaise with statutory authorities

• Client Relationship Management

• Quality Assurance Management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Registered Architect
• 10+ years industry experience
• Strong construction details knowledge
• Contract / Site Administration experience
• Demonstrable leadership and team building skills
• Advanced REVIT skills
• Thorough knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and R-Codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
