Project Architect

Applicant must have a Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent and 5-12 years' experience in institutional, industrial & commercial projects. Experience should include both design & production with a proficiency in using both AutoCAD and Revit software. Professional registration preferred. Must work within Pickering’s corporate philosophy of performing quality work for our clients, to treat employees as our prime asset and to be active, responsible members of the community.

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
• Adhering to all industry standards in design
• Specifying project requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• Professional Registration
• 5-12 years of experience in construction and architecture
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
