Project Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Project Assistant to join our project team and support our electrical projects at site on a contract basis.

This is a site-based position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a project environment, is comfortable being on-site, and is willing to get involved in day-to-day site activities.

Fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and project team with daily site activities
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning works
• Coordinate with site personnel, contractors and subcontractors
• Ensure work is carried out according to schedule
• Monitor and follow up on site work progress
• Assist in preparing site documentation and reports
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Perform other project-related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Punctual, disciplined, and responsible
• Site-based work
• Able to work overtime when required (OT allowance provided)
• Able to work late during project peak period if needed
• Willing to work on project-based schedule
• Able to understand and communicate in English
• Basic knowledge in Electrical field is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Education & Certification Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, OR
• Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 / 3 in Electrical, OR
• Certificate from Polytechnic / Vocational College in Electrical field

Technical Certification (Advantage)

• Possess Electrical Certification such as:

  • PW2 / PW4 (Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
  • Wireman Certificate
  • Chargeman Certificate
  • Other relevant electrical competency certificate

• Basic knowledge in electrical systems is an added advantage
