Project Assistant

EN2Action is hiring a part-time Project Assistant. At the center of this role are strong organizational skills and sharp priority-setting, paired with a curious mind and real follow-through, someone who doesn't let details slip. This person supports our grant-funded technical business program on the 3rd Street corridor and the Food Pavilion at India Basin Waterfront Park, with a focus on outreach, workshops and events, marketing and program administration.

If you're resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and just as at home with hands-on logistics as with public-facing community work, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Support our technical assistance program for local small businesses — outreach, workshop logistics, and helping us meet our grant commitments
• Help find new, creative approaches to community outreach that fit a neighborhood in transition — honoring longtime residents while building relationships with newcomers
• Help with marketing and social media across our programs, and turn program data into stories for marketing and fundraising

What You Bring

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities
• Demonstrated experience coordinating events, leading community outreach, or managing grant/program administration — someone who can hit the ground running
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable creating social media content and email campaigns
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Drive), Canva, with experience creating content for Instagram. Comfortable using Zoom and Eventbrite, Mailchimp for email outreach, and AI tools such as Claude. Quick to learn new software.
• Trustworthy and discreet, comfortable working closely with organizational leadership
• Passion for Bayview-Hunters Point community development, small business support, or food entrepreneurship is a plus

Details

• Full-time, hourly ($25–$28/hour, depending on experience)
• Reports to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager
• Based at EN2Action's offices at 101 Horne Avenue and 900 Innes Avenue
• Standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends for events

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
