Project Assistant

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Customs Administration or any business courses related to logistics industry
• At least 1–4-year experience in documentation, declaration of duty/tax and monitoring of import and export shipments as well as local movement
• Knowledgeable in Computation of Taxes and Duties is an advantage
• Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Has Good Customer Service Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Willing to start asap

Job Description:

• Prepares booking of shipments with the EDI Enterprise System.
• Sends cover sheet and other required documents in EDI Enterprise system to Clearance team / Trucking / Own Fleet
• Checks accuracy of details of pre-alert documents and ensures conformity of details of shipping documents against approved CA / FTA Coo (Certificate of Origin)
• Ensures that the shipping documents are in compliance with the BOC and PEZA requirements by checking the completeness and accuracy of shipping documents provided by the client
• Monitors the processing and approval of duty / tax exemption endorsements and other pre-importation clearances with different government agencies
• Coordinates and attends to client’s requirement relative to the customs clearance and other requirements in case arises
