Project Assistant (Warehouse Operations)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support the daily operations of our overseas warehouse facility in Houston. The ideal candidate will assist with warehouse coordination, inventory management, customer communication, and project administration to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse and project operations, including receiving, inventory control, quality inspections, order picking, cycle counting, and outbound shipments.
• Monitor inventory movement and order fulfillment progress. Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and inventory documentation. Communicate with customers regarding inbound shipments, outbound orders, inventory status, and operational updates.
• Maintain accurate project and operational data records. Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials as required. Support warehouse organization and maintain 5S standards in the warehouse and yard areas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or project coordination is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to work overtime when business needs require.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, overseas warehouse operations, or third-party logistics (3PL).

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
