Project Associate

About the role

Shaw Data Security delivers enterprise ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, SecOps, ITAM, IRM, CSM, and Source-to-Pay for clients in financial services, manufacturing, publishing, telecom, and aerospace.

We're hiring a Project Associate to support our project management function across a portfolio of active client engagements. You'll own the coordination work that keeps multiple implementations moving: scheduling, documentation, follow-up, and client communication. This is a hands-on role with direct client exposure from the start and a clear path into technical project management.

What you'll do

• Coordinate scheduling across client and internal teams on several concurrent projects
• Attend client calls, capture detailed notes, and issue recaps with action items, owners, and due dates
• Track open items and follow up with Shaw and client stakeholders until they close
• Maintain project trackers, status reports, RAID logs, and engagement documentation
• Support weekly project status reporting and hours burn tracking against SOW budgets
• Prepare kickoff materials, agendas, and client-facing deliverables
• Grow into independent ownership of workstreams as you build ServiceNow knowledge

What we're looking for

• 1 to 3 years of project coordination, project management, or delivery support experience
• Hands-on experience running project logistics: scheduling across multiple stakeholders, maintaining trackers and status reports, and driving action items to closure
• Excellent written communication. You'll be drafting client-facing emails and recaps from day one
• Highly organized with a reliable system for tracking commitments across multiple projects
• Comfortable shifting priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Willing to follow up persistently and escalate when items stall
• Self-directed learner. Much of your ramp-up will be independent coursework
• Confident participating in client meetings, including kickoffs with executive stakeholders

Helpful but not required

• ServiceNow experience
• Professional services or IT consulting background
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, Teams, or project tracking tools
