Project Associate

About the role

This role involves managing relationships and communication with payment providers to ensure reliable service delivery and successful integrations. You will support the end-to-end lifecycle of payment projects and channels, including onboarding, integration, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and decommissioning. You will act as a liaison between business, technical, operations, finance, marketing, and support teams to align requirements, priorities, and deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships and communication with payment providers to ensure reliable service delivery and successful integrations
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of payment project and channels, including onboarding, integration, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and decommissioning
• Coordinate project implementation and launch activities, track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure go-live readiness
• Act as a liaison between business, technical, operations, finance, marketing, and support teams to align requirements, priorities, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, prioritizing enhancements and initiatives based on business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities
• Identify potential risks, support mitigation planning, and ensure compliance with relevant payment industry regulations and standards
• Support internal teams and external stakeholders by providing training, guidance, and post-launch support to ensure successful adoption and ongoing performance

About you

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Project Management, FinTech, Payments, or related fields will have an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required
• Strong interest in fintech, payments, digital banking, e-wallets, cards, settlements, cross-border payments, and product management
• Basic understanding of payment systems, APIs, or fintech products is an advantage
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Agile methodologies, and the Product Development Lifecycle is a plus
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand, analyze, and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
