Engagement: Independent Consultant (3 Months)

Job Description

Organize company's financial records, implement an effective accounting system, and establish proper bookkeeping procedures. The consultant must be capable of independently assessing existing financial practices, identifying issues, recommending solutions, and guiding management through implementation.

Scope of Work:

• Review and organize existing financial records, including incomplete and unrecorded transactions.
• Reconstruct and encode financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Recommend, set up, and implement a cloud-based accounting system.
• Establish practical bookkeeping procedures and financial monitoring workflows.
• Prepare basic financial reports and identify discrepancies requiring resolution.
• Guide management and train designated personnel on maintaining the system.
• Ensure complete documentation and turnover upon project completion.

Qualifications:

• Background in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in accounting system implementation and financial records cleanup preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and provide practical recommendations.
• CPA license is not required.

Project Terms:

• Three-month independent consultancy engagement.
• Project Fee to be disclosed upon application.

Project Fee:

• Starts at P60,000 (Milestone-based payments, subject to agreed deliverables)
