Project Based Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support key business and technology initiatives on a project-based engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, facilitate testing activities, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Create detailed business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment of requirements and solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Assist in project planning, tracking, implementation, and change management activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend business solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives, requirements, and quality standards.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting business transformation, process improvement, or technology projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
• Experience writing detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Experience supporting or facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Exposure to project management methodologies and project coordination activities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Preferred but not required: Experience working with SAP or any similar enterprise systems.
• Preferred: Experience within the Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or Insurance industry.
