Project-Based Civil Engineer – Wall Panel Installation

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to serve as our technical representative for a construction project involving the installation of Luftcrete wall panels. The successful candidate will be assigned on-site to supervise and monitor the installation of wall panels, coordinate with the project team and main contractor, ensure that installation follows approved plans and technical requirements, and address technical concerns that may arise during the project. This is a hands-on site-based role requiring strong technical knowledge, construction experience, and the ability to effectively coordinate with contractors and site personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the installation of Luftcrete wall panels on-site.
• Ensure proper installation methods, alignment, dimensions, connections, and finishing are followed.
• Coordinate with the main contractor, site engineers, foremen, and workers regarding panel installation requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, and installation details relevant to the wall panel works.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure installation activities remain on schedule.
• Inspect completed works and identify installation defects, deviations, or technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during installation.
• Coordinate with Luftcrete and the project team regarding material requirements and technical concerns.
• Prepare daily site updates, progress reports, measurements, and documentation.
• Monitor material usage, deliveries, and proper handling of wall panels on-site.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in construction, site supervision, or project engineering.
• Experience in wall panel installation, precast, AAC/ALC panels, concrete works, or similar construction materials is an advantage.
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, measurements, and site coordination.
• Able to supervise workers and coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
• Willing to work on-site for the duration of the project.
• Available for a 3-month project-based engagement.
