Project-Based PLC & Microcontroller Programmer

Location: Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan

Pay: Fixed rate per project, negotiated before each project starts

About the Role

Khawaja Industrial Group is looking for a hands-on programmer to develop and build control systems for industrial use. You'll be engaged project by project, with a fixed fee agreed upfront for each one. The work covers both the software side (programming PLCs and microcontrollers) and the hardware side (designing, wiring, and assembling the circuits and control setups).

Responsibilities

Program PLCs and microcontrollers to meet each project's control and automation requirements.

Design, wire, and build the associated circuits, including sensors, actuators, relays, and power connections.

Test, troubleshoot, and commission systems before handover.

Provide basic documentation for each project, such as wiring diagrams and program notes.

Agree on scope, timeline, and fixed rate with management before starting each project.

Requirements

Currently in at least the 3rd year of a relevant degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar), or holding a relevant technical qualification from Pakistan (e.g., DAE in Electrical/Electronics).

Working knowledge of microcontroller and/or PLC programming.

Ability to read and build circuits from schematics.

Able to work on-site at Raiwind Road, Lahore, as projects require.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with industrial PLCs or microcontrollers in a factory or production setting.

Familiarity with industrial wiring practices and electrical safety.
