Project based until Dec 2027 | Insurance Data Administrator - WFH

About the role

The purpose of the role is to work with the Project team and Member businesses to check and input client and policy data into the member Broker Management System to ensure it is accurate and meets the needs and requirements of the member business.

Key responsibilities

• Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data.
• Defines the scope and format of reports and prepares same.
• Collaborates on the implementation and evaluation of data migration processes, including determining the metrics and methodologies to be used.
• Operating business intelligence software as required.
• Work with client teams to optimize data design and usage.
• Prepare environmental and procedural documentation.
• Create and maintain data dictionary by revising and entering definitions.
• Maintain & update data warehouses.
• Provide insights that will allow management the ability to quickly identify areas for improvement.
• Support the units of the organization by developing and set up reporting dashboards and clearly communicate data status.

About you

• 2+ years' experience in data processing/migration or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience in Insurance Policy preparation.
• Experience in data management, extraction, database maintenance.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Proficient in all other Microsoft office products.
• Knowledgeable in general insurance (AU/NZ).
• NZ Insurance experience.
• Working knowledge of Insurance Broking Systems.
• Experienced in system maintenance and administration (e.g setting up users and password for logging into a portal/system, updating information into the database, etc).
