Project Commercial Engineer

Educational Background and Major Requirements

(1) Full-time bachelor’s degree or above; candidates with relevant majors in finance, quantity surveying/cost engineering, international business, or similar disciplines are preferred.

Language Requirements

(1) Good English reading and writing skills and fluent spoken English communication skills;

(2) Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.

Tax and Financial Professional Competency Requirements

(1) Familiar with and able to apply Indonesian tax policies and management procedures relating to Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax, withholding tax, and related matters;

(2) Able to independently complete invoice issuance, tax declaration and payment, tax ledger management, and preparation of monthly/annual tax and financial reports;

(3) Familiar with Indonesian BPJS social security and labour-related tax administration procedures.

Industry Experience Requirements

(1) At least 3 years of experience in commercial management or tax and finance-related work in Indonesia’s construction industry;

(2) Experience on infrastructure construction projects in Indonesia for Chinese-invested enterprises is preferred.

General Competency Requirements

(1) Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with the Employer, local tax authorities, and relevant external parties;

(2) Strong sense of responsibility, sound data analysis skills, and a rigorous and detail-oriented work ethic;

(3) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
