Project Construction Manager

Job Summary

CHIHU Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will manage site operations, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and deliver projects within the approved schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities across project sites.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction workers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion according to the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, material submissions, and work schedules.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies at all project sites.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Control project costs, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing, and handover of completed works.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Previous experience in building construction, high-rise buildings, and structural works.
• Experience in formwork/shuttering, steel fixing, concrete works, and subcontractor management is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet strict project deadlines.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction planning software is an advantage.

What We Offer

Competitive salary package of AED 15,000–20,000 per month, offered based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
