Project Control & AI Analyst

Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project control systems utilizing tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL databases to track project progress, costs, and schedules.
• Design and optimize data models and databases to support complex analytics and reporting requirements across multiple projects.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other business intelligence tools to communicate key metrics clearly and effectively.
• Conduct requirements analysis to gather stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications for dashboard development and data integration.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and ETL processes to automate data workflows, improve query management, and enhance data quality.
• Perform software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) to ensure robust application deployment aligned with organizational standards.
• Apply Agile methodologies for project management and iterative development of analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design, data visualization projects, and technical proficiency enhancements.
• Support business analysis efforts by providing insights through Excel data analysis, reporting tools, and visualization dashboards that inform strategic decisions.
• Maintain documentation using tools like Visio for process flows and technical specifications to ensure clarity across teams.

Experience

• Proven experience in project control functions combined with strong expertise in AI-driven analytics within a corporate or technical environment.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL query management, database design principles, and SQL Server or Oracle database systems.
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard development and data visualization.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with a focus on automation of data workflows (ETL processes).
• Familiarity with SDLC practices for software development lifecycle analysis in analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, linked data concepts, and database architecture best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets using Excel data analysis tools alongside modern analytics software for insightful reporting.
• Experience working within Agile environments managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions that support strategic objectives.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings through dashboards or reports that influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
