Job Purpose

To support project planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring functions for EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) projects, ensuring accurate reporting and effective control of project time, cost, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules (Level 1 to Level 4/5) using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with the overall project WBS and baseline.
• Monitor and report progress across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases; calculate weighted progress based on approved earned value methodology.
• Prepare and update S-curves, histograms, and progress dashboards for internal and client reporting.
• Support cost control activities including budget tracking, commitment/actual cost monitoring, and forecasting (ETC/EAC).
• Conduct schedule variance and critical path analysis; highlight delays and support recovery planning.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Weekly Progress Reports, and other client/management deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and QA/QC teams to gather progress inputs and validate data accuracy.
• Assist in change management processes, including evaluation of schedule/cost impacts of variations and claims.
• Support risk management activities by identifying schedule-related risks and contributing to mitigation plans.
• Maintain document control coordination related to project controls deliverables (as required).
• Assist senior project control staff in resource loading, manpower histograms, and productivity tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience in project controls/planning within oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPCC industries (offshore/onshore experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or similar tools for dashboard reporting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• PMP or equivalent certification (or in progress) is a plus.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
