Project Control Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to oversee project control activities across company projects. In this role, you will help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with budget expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track project progress, identify variances, and provide timely reporting on schedule, cost, and scope performance.
• Support project planning efforts by coordinating assumptions, dependencies, risks, and resource needs.
• Prepare and present project control reports, dashboards, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Analyze trends, forecast potential impacts, and recommend corrective actions to support successful delivery.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with change control processes, including evaluating impacts to schedule, cost, and scope.
• Identify process improvements that strengthen project governance and control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, project coordination, scheduling, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, lifecycle phases, and reporting practices.
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, or project management tools and spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with earned value management, forecasting, or variance analysis.
• Familiarity with project governance, risk management, and change control processes.
• Certification in project management or project controls is a plus.
• Experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional, or capital projects.
