Project Control Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Project Control Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will support the discipline of project controls across large capital construction programs, with a focus on cost, schedule, forecasting, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will partner closely with finance and leadership teams to translate project performance into clear insights that guide decision-making. You will also help maintain strong controls around contingency management, trend tracking, and variance analysis to support effective program execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $103,500 – $181,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Administer project controls systems and processes
• Analyze cost and schedule variances
• Collaborate with financial teams to ensure accurate forecasting
• Prepare standardized project controls reports
• Present project controls reports to leadership
• Maintain contingency drawdown logs and performance trend logs
• Evaluate contingency adequacy against risks and trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of project controls experience on large capital construction programs
• Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience developing executive-level dashboards and detailed analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and project controls systems
