Project Controls Lead – Pharmaceutical Project

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Contract: Freelance

Duration: Long-term

Start: ASAP

Site: 5 days per week onsite

I am currently supporting a major pharmaceutical project in Frankfurt and looking for an experienced Project Controls Lead to join the team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will take a leading role across project controls, working closely with the wider project and construction teams to ensure effective planning, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project controls function across the project
• Oversee planning, scheduling and cost control activities
• Monitor project progress against the baseline programme
• Manage forecasting, budgets, cost performance and reporting
• Identify schedule and cost risks and support mitigation/recovery plans
• Produce and review project controls reports and KPIs
• Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, construction and commercial teams
• Support senior management with accurate project performance information

Requirements:

• Strong experience within Project Controls / Project Controls Management
• Background delivering large-scale construction, engineering or EPC projects
• Strong planning, scheduling and cost control knowledge
• Pharmaceutical or other complex/high-tech project experience beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills
• English speaking
• Able to work 5 days per week onsite in Frankfurt
• Available to mobilise at short notice
