Role Summary

The Project Controls Specialist supports the cost, schedule, and progress management of the Hubbard build. You will maintain schedules, track costs and changes, analyze performance, and produce the reporting that project leadership relies on. You will work closely with construction, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams, and with the contractors delivering the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6, including logic, resource and cost loading, and critical path analysis
• Review and validate contractor schedule submissions, progress updates, and recovery plans, and flag issues early
• Track budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts, and prepare cost to complete and variance analysis
• Support change management by logging, evaluating, and reporting scope changes and their cost and schedule impact
• Apply progress measurement and earned value methods to track installed quantities and percent complete
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and dashboards for project leadership
• Support schedule risk analysis and identify critical path threats
• Coordinate with the commissioning team on system completions and turnover sequencing
• Maintain data quality, document standards, and controls procedures across project systems
• Support audits, owner reviews, and lessons learned efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of project controls experience on large capital projects
• Experience with hyperscale data center construction, power generation, or large industrial work
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Solid understanding of cost control, earned value management, forecasting, and change control
• Ability to review and challenge contractor schedules and cost reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Hubbard, Texas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on gas turbine or reciprocating engine power plants, or other self powered generation projects is a plus
• Experience integrating power and data construction schedules on a single campus
• Experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier, Cobra, Procore, or similar platforms
• AACE certification (PSP or CCP) or PMI SP
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
