Project Controls Manager

About the role

Lead project planning, cost monitoring and performance control for construction and building materials projects. This is a senior project controls position offering exposure to major construction projects with opportunities for career progression into senior project management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
• Analyse project progress and identify potential delays
• Prepare project performance reports for management
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and suppliers
• Track project milestones, deliverables and variations
• Implement project control procedures and reporting systems
• Support management in project forecasting and decision-making

About you

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 4–7years of project controls or construction project experience
• Strong knowledge of project planning and cost control
• Experience with construction projects preferred
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficient in project scheduling and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
