Project Coordination Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Project Coordination Manager to support the smooth delivery of engineering and construction consultancy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in project coordination, multi-stakeholder communication, cost & schedule control, and operational management. This is a non-technical, management-focused position ideal for someone with strong cross-functional coordination experience in the construction and engineering sectors who is looking to contribute in Hong Kong's engineering consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities are as follows :

• Lead full-cycle project coordination for civil, structural, and infrastructure-related consultancy and construction management assignments, from initiation through to completion.
• Coordinate with clients (government departments, developers, contractors), design teams, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and monitor project master schedules, milestones and resource plans; track progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, progress reports and compliance records to meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Control project costs, review variation and support value engineering initiatives to optimize budget and timeline performance.
• Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving among all parties to resolve issues promptly and maintain strong working relationships.
• Prepare management reports, financial summaries and performance dashboards to support senior management decision-making.
• Ensure all project activities comply with Hong Kong regulations, ISO standards and company quality management systems.
• Support business development activities through client relationship maintenance and identification of potential opportunities in the Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area markets.

Requirements & Qualification :

• Bachelor's or Mater's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, or business operations within the construction, engineering, port infrastructure or related industries.
• Proven track record in full-cycle project management, stakeholder coordination (including government & regulatory bodies), cost control and risk management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling tools, documentation management and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong skills in data analysis and report preparation.
• PMP knowledge or related certifications would be a plus.
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin.
