Project Coordinator 1

Overview

Cycurion is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator 1 to join our team and help keep our client service delivery running smoothly. In this role, you'll coordinate resource scheduling for client service dispatches and implementations, making sure the right technicians are in the right place at the right time. You'll be a central connector between operations, sales, and project delivery across multiple client accounts, balancing resource supply against project demand to support timely, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate enjoys solving scheduling puzzles, communicates clearly, and takes a proactive approach to keeping projects on track.

This is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week through 2026, with the intent of transitioning to full time in 2027. Most work takes place during normal business hours, with periodic after-hours calls to support clients.

Duties

• Schedule resources for client implementations and service dispatches, and assist in selecting and assigning the right technicians based on skills, experience, and location.
• Balance resource demand with supply, taking into account skill sets, experience levels, geographic location, development goals, SLAs, operational targets, and financial impact.
• Analyze project backlogs to identify risks and ensure projects are delivered within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate resource records, talent databases, and availability data in partnership with project coordinators, project managers, and leadership.
• Keep client delivery platforms updated with resource allocations, including all closeout documentation needed to complete the dispatch process.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams on upcoming deals and their technician staffing implications.
• Apply Project Management Office (PMO) standards, processes, and methodologies consistently across project and resource coordination activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve resource utilization for our clients.

Skills

• Prior experience in workforce planning, operations planning, resource management, or a related field.
• Project coordination or project management experience; field service experience is a plus.
• Experience with ticketing or dispatch systems such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of IT and/or network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep records accurate and up to date.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with technicians, internal teams, and clients.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within the business.
• Flexibility to support occasional after-hours client calls.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
