Project Coordinator – Chinese Speaking

About the role

Support the Engineering Project Manager in managing new store opening projects, construction, and store renovation projects. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to monitor project progress, key milestones, and required actions. Proactively identify issues and drive timely resolutions to ensure stores are opened on schedule and meet the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in preparing and updating project plans for new store openings and tracking key milestones, including design, quotation, approval, construction, handover, and pre-opening preparation
• Coordinate with internal departments, including Retail Operations, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, IT, Finance, Procurement, and other supporting functions, to ensure all store opening activities are completed according to the project plan
• Coordinate with external partners, including shopping malls, landlords or property owners, design companies, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, and closely follow project requirements and monitor the progress and delivery of work
• Support the Project Manager in Chinese communication, including interpretation during meetings and translation of information and documents, to ensure accurate and consistent communication between the China Headquarters, Thailand team, and external partners
• Regularly update project progress trackers and issue logs, identify potential risks that may impact project timelines, costs, or store opening dates, report them to the Project Manager, and follow up on corrective actions until completion
• Follow up on construction progress, material delivery, equipment installation, site inspections, defect rectification, and store handover to ensure the store is fully prepared and meets required standards before opening
• Assist in organizing and maintaining project documents, including design drawings, quotations, contracts, approval documents, construction records, inspection and handover documents, and supporting documents for payment processing
• Travel to construction sites or stores as required to monitor project progress and support on-site coordination and pre-opening activities

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, Chinese Language, or other related fields
• Thai nationality with good Chinese language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, able to use Chinese for daily communication, meeting coordination, and document handling
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, retail store construction, interior fit-out, property/building management, leasing area management, or related fields (fresh graduates with strong potential are also welcome to apply)
• Strong project follow-up, cross-functional coordination, and multitasking skills
• Detail-oriented, highly responsible, proactive in identifying issues, and able to follow up on solutions through completion
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as project management or project tracking tools
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, with the flexibility to travel to stores or construction sites as required by the project
