Project Coordinator - Civil/ Hardscape

About the company: 
Our client is a well-known & long standing privately owned civil contractor.  They have been in operation for over 15 years and have grown steadily in that time.  They now turnover $20M and target projects across the civil/ hardscape sector.

Abou the role:
This role is to help carry the project from tender through setup and into delivery. Your time will be split 30% within Estimating and 70% project delivery support. 

Responsibilities include: 
Estimating (30%)

• Issue RFQs and source supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Chase and compile quotations.
• Assist with quote comparisons and tender procurement.
• Organise tender files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with estimate preparation and tender submissions

Project Delivery: (70%)

• Set up project folders, registers and systems.
• Coordinate crew flights, accommodation, hire cars and travel
• Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation
• Assist with procurement schedules, supplier quotations and routine procurement administration.
• Coordinate POs, supplier onboarding and credit applications as required.
• Assist with standard project and HSEQ documentation setup.
• Maintain container, PPE, uniform and test/tag registers.

To be considered for the role, you'll ideally have the following:

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the civil/ landscape or commercial construction sector
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Strong computer skills

Salary between $100,000 - $130,000 + super (DOE)
