Project Coordinator

About the role

LC Studio Limited is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our construction project management team. This is a full-time position based in the Central and Western District. As Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and effective resource management. This position is integral to maintaining project timelines, budgets and quality standards whilst supporting our senior project management team.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling and coordination to ensure all milestones are met on time
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, correspondence and records
• Coordinating communication between site teams, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring project budgets and costs, preparing reports and identifying potential cost overruns
• Scheduling and coordinating site meetings, inspections and walkthroughs
• Tracking material deliveries, equipment and resource allocation across project sites
• Supporting contract administration and procurement processes
• Assisting with health, safety and compliance documentation and reporting
• Managing project databases and ensuring information is current and accessible
• Supporting the project manager with daily administrative and operational tasks

What we're looking for

• A qualification or certification in construction project management, quantity surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience working as a Project Coordinator or in a similar construction support role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and building compliance standards
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes and tender documentation is desirable
