About Us
Huglo Solar is one of Canberra region's leading solar and battery specialists, delivering tailored renewable energy solutions for residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on high-quality installations, ethical service, and transparent customer care. As a Solar Accreditation Australia Installers and NETCC signatory, we uphold the highest standards across both our technical work and internal operations.
As Huglo Solar continues to grow, we’re seeking to add to the Projects Team. The Project Coordinator will support the delivery of our renewable energy projects from sale through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and takes genuine ownership of their work.
About the Role
Working closely with project managers, electricians, and the wider operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and with clear communication throughout.
This is a hands-on role suited to a self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, following tasks through to completion, and identifying issues before they become problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the coordination of solar and battery projects from post-sale through to installation and commissioning.
- Preparing and maintaining project schedules, job documentation, and compliance records.
- Coordinating with customers to confirm site details, installation dates, and required documentation.
- Tracking project progress and proactively following up outstanding actions or delays.
- Supporting grid connection processes, approvals, and post-installation documentation.
- Maintaining organised digital project files so all information is accurate, traceable, and up to date.
- Assisting management with reporting on project status, bottlenecks, and workflow improvements.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to take responsibility and follow tasks through without constant supervision.
- Confident self-starter who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, and digital document management.
- Experience in project coordination, administration, or operations support (construction, electrical, or solar experience is an advantage but not essential).
- Ability to work collaboratively while also being accountable for individual outcomes.
What We Offer
- A supportive, practical, and down-to-earth team environment.
- A role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to grow as the business expands.
- Exposure to all aspects of solar and battery project delivery.
- The chance to contribute meaningfully to Australia’s renewable energy transition.
- Competitive remuneration based on experience
