Project Coordinator

About the role

This role involves assisting in the coordination and administration of construction projects, supporting the Project Manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documents, including contracts, permits, plans, and reports
• Assist in developing project schedules and timelines and monitor project progress and update schedules as needed
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and work completion
• Act as liaison between the Project Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure that meeting minutes are documented and distributed
• Keep all stakeholders informed about project progress and any changes to the plan
• Assist in tracking cost changes and monitor project budgets, expenses and financial reports
• Assist in resolving any quality-related issues that may arise during construction
• Collaborate with the Safety Officer to ensure that safety procedures and regulations are followed on the construction site
• Identify and report potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines or budgets

About you

• At least 2 years' previous work experience, preferably in a building construction related field
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards
• Good team player with ability to work with the team and handle multiple projects
• Committed, positive attitude and able to handle projects independently
• Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
• Aluminium and glazing Facade experience will be an added advantage
