About the Role

Due to a promotion, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Invercargill team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the sales and delivery process from start to finish. The days and hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Tender Submission: Prepare and submit tenders and quotes in a timely manner, supporting the sales team in winning new business.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

• Pricing & Margin Management: Monitor and manage pricing strategies to maintain healthy profit margins across all projects.

• Project Review & Sign-Off: Review and approve support work before it is released to clients, ensuring quality and accuracy.

• Order & Delivery Processing: Coordinate the ordering and timely delivery of materials and products, liaising with suppliers and logistics partners.

• Client Communication: Constantly communicating with customers and suppliers about orders, and lead times.

About you

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in project coordination in a plumbing, drain laying or building supplies or civil construction company ideal
• Experience reading and pricing from quantity schedules, or similar
• Naturally builds rapport and earns trust with a diverse range of customers
• Full, clean driver's license
• Reliable, self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage shifting workloads and responsibilities
• Confident and proactive communicator, both on the phone and in person
• Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
• A genuine team player who supports colleagues, welcomes accountability and takes direction well
• A passion for sales, with a drive to support the team in achieving budget targets
• Proficient with ERP systems and competent across Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
