About this role:

Fangda Australia is looking for an enthusiastic project coordinator to join our team, to assist with new projects and the expansion of our company. This is an opportunity to work with a friendly and exciting team in a full-time position.

As the Facade Project Coordinator, you will work with our experienced project managers, going through the processes of façade delivery from the beginning to the handover of the projects. Your duty will be, but not limited to:

• Providing project administrative and tendering support,
• Reviewing design and engineering packages,
• Establishing and enforcement of the project programme,
• Preparing the samples for client’s approval,
• Managing stock-levels and logistics activities,
• Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers,
• During construction phase attend project site as required,
• Coordinate on-site activities, collaborate with contractors and clients, and undertake quality and safety audits,
• Problem solving design, fabrication or site issues,
• Project progress and performance tracking,
• QA coordination, project cost monitoring and after-sale service assistance,
• Project reporting and auditing,
• This role requires travel to various locations within Australia where required.

To be successful in this role

To be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, the suitable candidate will require the following attributes:

• Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin and being able to process documents in both languages.
• 1-3 years of experience in the construction or engineering industries is preferred,
• Knowledge of relative Australian Standards and design principles,
• High attention to detail and being able to work under pressure,
• Positive and energetic personality to work along within a team,
• Well-organized attitude and excellent communication skills,
• Strong IT skills, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and similar experience would be an advantage,
• Must have the right visa to work full-time in Australia,
• Flexibility of allocating to different states is preferred
