Project Coordinator

About the role:

FlooringHQ is looking for an organized, customer-focused Project Coordinator to keep flooring installations running smoothly from sale to final walkthrough. You'll be the link between customers, sales staff, installers, and vendors. Your job is to ensure materials arrive on time, crews are scheduled correctly, and every job is finished to our standards.

What you'll do

• Take over sold jobs from the sales team and review orders with production for accurate measurements, materials, and pricing
• Order flooring materials, underlayment, trim, and supplies from vendors, then track deliveries and backorders
• Enter installations into the calendar, and follow-up visits with customers and installation crews
• Send updates to customers
• Hlep coordinate with subcontractors and installers on job details, site conditions, and any changes to scope
• Handle change orders, delays, and product issues, and escalate problems when needed
• Keep project records, schedules, and job files up to date in our systems
• Help resolve customer complaints and help schedule repairs or warranty work
• Check that jobs are complete and paperwork is closed out for billing
• Support builder and commercial accounts with multi-unit or phased project scheduling

What we're looking for

Required

• 2+ years in project coordination, scheduling, or operations, preferably in flooring, construction, or home improvement
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage many jobs at once
• Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and in person
• Comfort with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm when schedules change

Preferred

• Knowledge of flooring products such as LVP, hardwood, tile, carpet, and laminate, and how they're installed
• Experience with flooring or construction software such as RFMS, QFloors, or Measure Square
• Experience working with subcontractors or installation crews
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9-5, with occasional Saturdays during busy seasons. Some travel between the store location and job sites may be required. A valid driver's license is required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
