Project Coordinator

About the role

This role involves tracking project schedules, daily site progress, and milestones, coordinating material procurement and deliveries (pumps, pipes, alarm panels), and managing project paperwork. You will ensure all project progress, schedules, and materials are properly tracked and monitored, with documentation filed in both hard copy and soft copy formats in designated shared folders.

Key responsibilities

• Track project schedules, daily site progress, and milestones
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries (pumps, pipes, alarm panels)
• Manage project paperwork and ensure all documentation and records are filed appropriately
• Gain access to project records and determine appropriate ways of recording and updating them
• Ensure all project tasks and paperwork are well-managed and submitted on time
• Perform project coordination and management support activities
• Maintain procedures for project documentation and manage the flow of project deliverables
• Work closely and liaise with contractors and internal teams in all matters relating to project execution
• Ensure that the latest updates and schedules produced for the project are recorded and communicated to all concerned parties

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or engineering
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
• Able to read technical engineering drawings (M&E layouts / electrical schematics)
• Good communication skills and a strong eye for detail
• Experience in Fire Protection systems is a big plus
• Mandarin speaking candidates are highly preferred
