Project Coordinator

The Role
Our client is a well-established commercial roofing contractor seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Operations Manager in the delivery of commercial roofing projects across South East Queensland.

This role is ideal for an experienced Roofer, Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Project Coordinator looking to take on a position that combines office-based coordination with on-site project involvement. The role is generally split 50/50 between office and site, with the opportunity to become more office-based over time.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial roofing projects from start to completion
• Order roofing materials and manage supplier relationships
• Schedule labour, subcontractors, and site works
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and site teams
• Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain project documentation and compliance records
• Assist with procurement, purchasing, and material forecasting
• Conduct regular site visits and support site operations
• Prepare project updates, reports, and meeting minutes
• Support the Construction Manager with day-to-day project delivery

About You

• Previous experience in a commercial or residential roofing business is essential
• Experience in metal roofing, roofing supervision, or project coordination highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials and construction processes
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
