What they need

Step into project management on major water infrastructure

Allied Pumps is a family-owned Western Australian business delivering pumping, treatment and water infrastructure solutions. Our Commercial team supplies and installs large commercial and industrial steel water tanks for mining, civil and fire water projects across WA.

Our tanks project pipeline is growing and we are looking for a hands-on Project Coordinator to work alongside our Tanks Project Managers. This is a genuine development role for someone with site

experience who wants to build a career in project management.

The role

  • Support the Project Managers to deliver tank projects on time, on budget and to specification
  • Coordinate materials, purchase orders, freight and deliveries to site, including long-lead steel and subassemblies
  • Schedule and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors, including inductions, tickets and site access
  • Prepare and track project documentation: ITPs, QA records, JHAs, permits, drawings and handover pack
  • Attend site to check progress, quality and safety, and resolve issues with crews and clients
  • Maintain project schedules, cost tracking and progress reports
  • Identify repeat processes and help standardise them to save time on future projects

What you bring

  • Mechanical trade, engineering or construction background (e.g. fitter, boilermaker, rigger, tank installer, or a degree or diploma in engineering or construction management)
  • Site experience on construction, mining or infrastructure projects
  • Strong mechanical aptitude: able to read drawings and understand how things go together
  • Initiative: you see what needs doing and do it without waiting to be asked
  • Organised, with good attention to detail and solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Clear communicator, comfortable with crews, suppliers and clients
  • Current WA driver's licence; White Card; mine site inductions an advantage
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, police clearance and drug and alcohol test

Why Allied Pumps

  • Competitive salary plus super
  • Structured development towards a Project Manager role, with mentoring from experienced PMs
  • Varied work across office and site, on projects you can see built
  • A family-owned business where initiative is noticed and rewarded
