What You’ll Do… The Project Coordinator – HR supports the delivery of HR projects by managing planning, documentation, and communication across key initiatives such as policy updates, engagement programmes, and compliance activities. The role relies on consistent use of PMO tools and standards—including planning templates, risk and change logs, reporting formats, scheduling tools, and governance routines—to ensure structured delivery and strong project control.

While deep HR expertise isn’t required, a basic understanding of core HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance cycles, and compliance is beneficial. The Project Coordinator enhances HR operational effectiveness by ensuring timely delivery, maintaining accurate records, and applying PMO methodologies to drive consistency and quality. Although not responsible for shaping HR strategy, the role plays a vital part in enabling high‑quality execution and positively influencing the employee experience across the organisation.

Being a part of the dynamic and high performing PMO team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead creation of project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate tasks, dependencies, and milestone tracking.
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, risk logs, and change logs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership.
  • Schedule and manage project meetings, prepare agendas, and record actions.
  • Assist with vendor management and invoicing for HR-related project initiatives.
  • Handle administrative tasks for HR PMO teams.

We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.

What You’ll Bring…

  • Background in managing long‑term projects (2+ years), including coordination, tracking, and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience supporting the delivery of projects across cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to communicate project status, risks, and actions succinctly
  • Understanding of tracking, documentation accuracy, and audit expectations
  • Comfortable producing reports and slide decks for leadership
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Desired

  • Awareness of HR compliance expectations and quality standards
  • Ability to work with HRBPs, PMO, line managers, external vendors

What You’ll Get… As a new company, our reward scheme is constantly evolving. We continue to review the market to deliver a competitive benefits package, which currently includes private healthcare, car allowance, company bonus, enhanced parental leave policy and a cash allowance to boost your benefits. We are a flexible business that is committed to promoting work-life balance, partnering with Yulife to provide our team members with total wellbeing support.

You’ll work in a rapidly scaling-up environment as a subsidiary of the multinational corporation, Tata Sons, to help build the UK’s biggest battery manufacturing facility and make your mark in a new organisation.
