Project Coordinator - Construction / Fabrication

Project Coordinator – Modular Power Fabrication & Integration (Katy / West Houston, TX)

Lucid Recruiting is partnering with a growing fabrication and integration company in the Katy area that builds modular power distribution and generation infrastructure for data centers, oil & gas, utilities, industrial, and chemical customers. They’re adding two Project Coordinators, moving toward a dedicated coordinator paired with every project manager.

What you’ll do

• Support project managers across multiple active builds, from single units to multi-unit programs
• Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and customer documentation and certification requests
• Maintain project schedules, logs, meeting minutes, and drawing/spec revisions
• Coordinate with engineering, the shop floor, vendors, and distributors on materials, deliveries, and ship dates
• Assist with purchase orders, progress reporting, and closeout packages
• Keep the project team organized so nothing slips between the customer, engineering, and production

What we’re looking for

• 1–3 years in a project coordinator, project engineer, or project support role in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial equipment
• Comfortable in a shop environment and reading drawings and specs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or ERP software a plus
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects without losing track
• Interest in growing into a project management role
