The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Custom Fabrication Department. This is a full-time position based in Landsdale.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the coordination, planning, and successful delivery of custom fabrication projects. You’ll be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems to track project performance and progress, while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers across all stages of project delivery, while independently managing minor projects from award through to close-out.
• Prepare, maintain and manage project documentation, reports, quality registers and fabrication packages.
• Coordinate the procurement of project materials in line with scope requirements and approved budgets.
• Monitor and report on project progress, timelines, performance and deliverables to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate fabricated items through production, surface treatment, QA inspections and transport through to delivery.
• Review and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing, quotes and estimates.
• Work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, Project Managers, steel detailers, workshop and site teams to support successful project delivery.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in project coordination or a similar project-focused role.
• Minimum 3 years’ exposure to the steel, fabrication or a related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• A strong focus on quality and maintaining high standards of project documentation and delivery.
• Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis and ability to meet client site access requirements.
