I’m currently working on behalf of a client who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Coordinator to join their growing team in Preston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Electrical, mechanical building services, construction or a related environment who is looking to develop their career with an established and growing business.

About the Client

My client is an established mechanical, Engineering and building services contractor, delivering HVAC, heating, hot water and wider mechanical solutions across a range of commercial projects.

They have built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and providing a professional service to their customers. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their project team with a motivated and organised Project Coordinator.

The Role

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and site teams, you will provide both project coordination and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating HVAC and mechanical projects from mobilisation through to completion
• Preparing RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• Supporting compliance with CDM 2015 and Health & Safety requirements
• Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and site access
• Managing CAFM/job management system updates
• Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
• Producing project reports, trackers and documentation
• Assisting with O&M manuals and handover documentation
• Supporting procurement and purchase orders
• Maintaining communication with clients, suppliers and engineers
• Tracking project costs, variations and progress
• Supporting project planning, invoicing and financial tracking
• Attending project meetings
• General project administration and document control

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who ideally have experience within HVAC, mechanical services, construction or a similar project-based environment.

You may have experience as a:

Project Coordinator | Project Administrator | Mechanical Coordinator | Contracts Coordinator | Assistant Project Manager | Construction Coordinator

Experience with the following would be advantageous:

-Building fabrication knowledge

• Commercial heating systems
  -Commercial hot water systems
  -Air conditioning and ventilation
  -CAFM/job management systems
  -Microsoft Office

Most importantly, you'll need to be organised, proactive, confident communicating with different stakeholders and keen to progress your career.

Salary & Package

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience (DOE).
