- Serve as a central point of communication, helping ensure updates and priorities are shared across departments.
- Document key decisions, action items, owners, and due dates, and follow through to completion.
- Coordinate with purchasing to monitor material availability and supplier-related timing that may affect production.
- Partner with sales to understand customer commitments, priorities, and changes that may affect job schedules.
- Work closely with manufacturing to understand production status, capacity considerations, and potential bottlenecks.
- Maintain organized project records, schedules, status updates, and other job-related documentation.
- Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen communication, accountability, and workflow across departments.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience coordinating projects, production, operations, or customer jobs in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities at the same time.
- A proactive, follow-through mindset and comfort checking in with others to keep work moving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Confidence leading meetings, asking questions, clarifying ownership, and communicating next steps.
- Ability to recognize potential delays or roadblocks and bring the right people together to address them.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, purchasing, and customer order fulfillment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other business or ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently while building strong relationships with sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and leadership.
