PROJECT COORDINATOR MEPF SCOPE

About the role

JCAP CONSTRUCTION is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator MEPF Scope to join our team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful coordination and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems across our construction projects. As Project Coordinator MEPF Scope, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and implementation of MEPF works across sites, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to maintaining project timelines and ensuring seamless integration of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems within our construction operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the scheduling of MEPF (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety) scope of works across assigned construction projects
• Liaise with MEPF contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports on MEPF scope completion and performance metrics
• Review and process shop drawings, technical specifications, and compliance documentation related to MEPF systems
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure MEPF installations comply with approved designs and industry standards
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, logs, inspection records, and correspondence
• Identify and escalate potential delays or issues that may impact the MEPF scope and propose mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with the main project team to ensure MEPF scope aligns with overall project milestones and objectives
• Support the management of MEPF-related budgets and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements specific to MEPF installations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related construction discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in construction project coordination, with specific focus on MEPF scope management
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems in commercial or residential construction projects
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Understanding of construction schedules, specifications, and building codes relevant to MEPF installations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Preferably with experience in high-rise or large-scale commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of safety and quality management standards in the construction industry is an advantage
