PROJECT COORDINATOR / SITE SUPERVISOR

E Const Development Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an experienced, responsible, and proactive Project Coordinator / Site Supervisor to join our team for building and civil construction projects.

1. Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and supervise daily construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure all construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor project progress and report delays, site issues, and work discrepancies to the Project Manager or Management.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and ensure works are executed according to the approved plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction works meet the required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor manpower, construction materials, equipment, and machinery at the project site.
• Check material deliveries, usage, and wastage to ensure proper site resource management.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, site photographs, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate site inspections and follow up on rectification works where necessary.
• Identify construction problems and propose practical solutions to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on work progress, site conditions, and outstanding issues.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, site measurements, variation works, and progress claims where required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, site organisation, and coordination of construction activities.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

2. Job Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in construction site supervision or project coordination.
• Must have hands-on experience in building and/or civil construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, site procedures, and construction methods.
• Experienced in supervising workers, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring site progress.
• Able to prepare site reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Good communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.
