PROJECT CUM RFQ ENGINEER

We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Project Engineer cum RFQ Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering projects, preparing quotations/RFQs, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring projects are completed according to requirements, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects from quotation/RFQ stage through project completion.
• Review customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Prepare project documentation, schedules, costing, and progress reports.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality requirements are met.
• Evaluate material, manpower, and project costs for quotation purposes.
• Follow up on quotations and clarify technical requirements with customers.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Support continuous improvement and other engineering-related activities as required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, RFQ/quotation, manufacturing, or engineering-related industries.
• Experience in preparing quotations, costing, and reviewing technical drawings/specifications.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects/tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP or AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.
