Project /Deployment Manager – EV Charging & Electrical Infrastructure

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring on behalf of a leading global technology company expanding its electric vehicle charging network across the Philippines.

We’re looking for an experienced project leader with strong electrical infrastructure knowledge to manage projects from planning and utility coordination through construction, energization, commissioning, and handover.

Direct EV charging experience is an advantage, but not required. We welcome professionals from power distribution, electric utilities, substations, renewable energy, Solar EPC, battery energy storage, data centers, and other major electrical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of EV charging and supporting electrical infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and risks across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, consultants, vendors, government agencies, landlords, and internal teams.
• Review electrical designs, drawings, load requirements, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage permitting, utility applications, grid connections, inspections, and energization activities.
• Oversee site construction, contractor performance, and installation quality.
• Resolve technical, commercial, contractor, and scheduling issues to keep projects moving.
• Lead testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and final project handover.
• Provide clear progress reports and improve project delivery processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) strongly preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure, power systems, utilities, renewable energy, EPC, or major construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical power distribution and infrastructure.
• Proven experience delivering projects from planning and construction through commissioning, energization, and handover.
• Experience managing contractors, multidisciplinary teams, project schedules, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and project ownership.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects or sites simultaneously.

• Substations, transformers, and switchgear
• Utility interconnection and grid connection
• Electrical testing, commissioning, and energization
• Solar EPC, renewable energy, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Data centers and critical power infrastructure
• EV charging stations and DC fast-charging systems

Other Requirements

• Willing to travel regularly to project sites across the Philippines.
• Comfortable overseeing onsite construction and field activities.
• Holds a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
