Project Design

We are looking for a technically skilled Project Design professional with knowledge of DG set applications, equipment sizing, engineering calculations, and layout design. The candidate will be responsible for technical calculations, equipment layouts, DG set configurations, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with project specifications and customer requirements. The role involves approximately 30% travelling for site visits, customer meetings, and technical coordination.

M.E./M.Tech – 7 years
B.E./B.Tech – 10 years
Diploma – 15 years

Industry - DG Set & Generator Manufacturing ,Power Generation Equipment ,MEP Design & Engineering ,Oil & Gas , Industrial Equipment & Capital Goods ,Air Compressor , Mechanical & Equipment Design Engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform equipment sizing, design, and layout calculations.
• Handle thermal insulation, cooling system, pressure, and pipe sizing calculations.
• Prepare equipment layouts, cabling, earthing, and busduct layouts.
• Work on DG set peripherals, including exhaust silencers, alternators, battery chargers, and radiators.
• Support acoustic enclosure design, room acoustics, ventilation, and cooling system requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors for project requirements.
• Visit customer sites for technical discussions and inspections.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of DG sets and capital goods equipment.
• Experience in equipment design, sizing calculations, and layout preparation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of acoustics, ventilation, insulation, cooling, and piping calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
