Project Design Engineer

Working hour: 8:00-17:00 Mon - Sat, 6 days working

(Occasionally working extra hours to ensure project deadlines are met on time.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop Shop Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, and As-Built Drawings in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and actual site conditions.
• Create and revise drawings for steel structures, container units, steel components, piping systems, and electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed drawings based on project requirements and instructions from Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers.
• Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and actual site conditions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Site Teams to resolve design and drawing-related issues.
• Revise drawings based on comments and feedback from engineers, clients, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain and control drawing revisions, revision history, and related documents to ensure proper organization and up-to-date information.
• Support the Engineering and Project Teams in preparing technical drawings, design documents, and project documentation.
• Visit project sites as required to verify site conditions and collect information for drawing preparation and revisions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 0–5 years of experience in Designer, Design Engineer, Draftsman, or CAD Designer positions.
• New graduates with a strong interest in design and engineering are welcome to apply.
• Experience in steel structures, container units, piping systems, electrical systems, or industrial projects will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, SketchUp, or other 2D/3D design and drafting software will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, materials, and construction/manufacturing details.
• Strong skills in drawing revision and document control.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Production, and Site Teams.
• Good command of spoken and written English is a MUST
