Project Developement Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and driven New Energy Project Development Officer to lead the expansion of our renewable energy portfolio. In this role, you will handle market research, project screening, and the full feasibility analysis for solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, clients, and essential Philippine energy regulatory bodies to secure permitting and grid-connection approvals.Role Details

Core Responsibilities

• Project Development: Lead the development of new energy projects (specifically solar PV and BESS), covering market research, project screening, and comprehensive feasibility analysis.
• Stakeholder & Regulatory Liaison: Liaise directly with clients, partners, and key government/regulatory agencies including the DOE, ERC, NGCP, and LGUs.
• Compliance & Grid Connection: Manage all permitting processes and grid-connection requirements.
• Operational Execution: Execute day-to-day project development tasks such as site screening, net-metering/permit processing, and tariff/PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) analysis.
• Market Intelligence: Track, analyze, and report on Philippine energy policies, incentives, and shifting market trends.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate actively with internal technical, commercial, and legal teams to prepare precise project documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in new energy or power project development. Direct familiarity with the Philippine power market is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Philippine permitting frameworks and grid-connection procedures.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Proficiency in Chinese is considered a distinct advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong capabilities in business negotiation, cross-team coordination, and strategic problem-solving.
• Mobility: Fully willing and able to travel and work on-site at various project locations as required.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
