We are supporting a leading European renewable energy developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the search for a Project Developer to join its growing Polish development team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Poland, supporting projects through key stages of the development lifecycle, from initial site identification through to ready-to-build status.

Working closely with colleagues across land acquisition, permitting, grid, engineering and commercial teams, this is an opportunity to take ownership of projects, build strong relationships with external stakeholders and contribute to the continued growth of an established renewable energy business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Identify and assess potential project sites and development opportunities.
• Coordinate land acquisition activities with internal teams, landowners and external partners.
• Manage planning applications, permitting processes and regulatory approvals.
• Build relationships with municipalities, authorities, landowners, consultants and grid operators.
• Coordinate environmental assessments, technical studies and planning activities.
• Track project timelines, budgets, risks and development milestones.
• Support commercial assessments, project optimisation and investment decisions.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to progress projects towards ready-to-build status.
• Contribute to project pipeline development and the identification of new opportunities.

Profile

• Experience in renewable energy project development, ideally within the Polish market.
• Exposure to utility-scale Solar PV, BESS or wind projects.
• Good understanding of planning, permitting and project development processes.
• Experience coordinating external stakeholders and managing multiple project workstreams.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in the technical and regulatory aspects of renewable energy development.
• Degree in Engineering, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
